In addition to promoting my first memoir, I will be blogging and vlogging the most intimate and transparent details of my Christian pilgrimage: dialoguing with the Divine, divulging my adversities, and afflictions, as well as proclaiming my triumphant testimonies. My aim is either to arouse an interest in or revitalize a relationship with the Monarch of the Universe, who is abounding in love, compassionate, faithful, gracious, patient, yet just. Tiffani's Story

Behind the Words

I have been composing songs, and penning poetry, writing skits since the age of 16. Though I was initially unaware of this God-given innate ability, it wasn’t until 20 years later when I surrendered my life to the Lord that I discerned this inherent artistry. In response to disappointment, trauma, and tragedy, I began conveying my emotions via the written form to my Creator. When I began sharing my compositions with confidants for feedback, I was often prodded to compile my writings into book form. Initially, I had no interest in writing and publishing my works, but it wasn’t until a few years later when offered a job in the remote mountains of California, 3,000 miles away from my family and friends, that I detected the dual purpose of such a distant move. It was there that God had confirmed my friends’ entreaties.

Who Am I?

Allow me to tell you a few things about me
I define myself in varying degrees
A girl who desires to have God tightly knitted at heart
This is the core of who I am, yet there are other intricate parts
Mentally astute, I will challenge the mind
Engage and examine to see how you’re designed
Verbally expressive, I speak from the depths of my soul
Preferably with tact. I’m sensitive. To offend is not my goal
I’m sociable. I take interest in those who cross my path
Inquisitive. Explorative. To relieve stress, I like to laugh
At times a recluse. Being alone helps me to recharge
In-depth reflective thought helps my insight to become enlarged
Creative in my thought processes; artistic with the pen
A hopeless romantic but desiring God’s approval to secure a commitment to him
The gift of song was imparted. Melodies I love to sing
An avid seeker of knowledge and imparting it is my thing
Conscientious concerning my physique, but not to draw attention to myself
My body is the temple of God. To obey and honor him above all else
In the following pages, memoirs of my life will be exposed
Reflections via literary art will my story be told
From the age of five to the present, sketches of my life will be seen
Transparent and vulnerable, yet on the Solid Rock I lean
This Christian journey I’m on has been wobbly, to say the least
Yet I continue to press forward; I refuse to cease
When my pilgrimage on this earth is done, I desire to have been a light
That through me people will have discerned the love of Christ

As did Abraham, abandoned my native area
Associations, admirers, my family; in a state of hysteria
Seemingly alone, across the country, Teaching me to depend on Him
A new assignment I was called to accept, yet the journey appeared grim
Providence called. In faith, I followed. An untried field I was to begin
Years of creativity, gifted in literary art, a narrative was brewing from within
Through spiritual discipline, God was educating me for His service
In preparation to fulfill the gifts imparted me for His grand purpose

Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education
Andrews University

I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a major in Social Studies. I worked as a multi-grade elementary school teacher for four years at Oakhurst Adventist Christian School in Oakhurst, CA, from 2014-2018. When the school permanently closed due to low enrollment, the conference I worked for transferred me to Bakersfield Adventist Academy in Bakersfield, CA to work as an English Literature Arts, for grades 9-12, and a History teacher for grade 11. To qualify for this position, I received my North American Division endorsement in high school English and History. I have been employed in this position from 2018 to present. For the past three years, 2021-present, I have been the choir director for the Bakersfield Adventist Choir.

1994- 1997

Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology
University of Akron

I have an Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology and a First Assistant certification in Surgical Assisting. For 12 years, I worked alongside surgeons assisting in the role of passing sterile instruments and supplies to surgeons during surgical operations and assisting the surgeon with surgical tasks such as holding open incisions, stopping bleeding, and closing and bandaging incisions.
