Giving Gratitude to God

Thank you, Lord, for in You, I live, move, and have my being

Thank you for the gifts of composing, exhorting, singing, and teaching

Thank you for not granting what I thought I desired in the past

Thank you for uncharted territories. Your wisdom is unsurpassed

Thank you for Your watch care as I face the world day-to-day

Thank you for the many lessons I've learned along the way

Thank you for Your patience as I stumble along my Christian journey

Thank you for calming my nerves when life tries to give me reason to worry

Ultimately, thank you for sacrificing Your life so that I can live eternally

It's the best gift I can ever receive, and each day I want to walk with You diligently

Thank you for Your Word, Providence, and nature; the ways You make Yourself known

Thank you for being a personal God though high and lifted on Your holy throne

Thank you for setting the best example of a character I want to reflect

From this day forward, til You return or I die, please make me perfect
