Jesus, The Miracle Worker (Luke 4:18)

Many in Jesus’s day questioned His authority

Signs and wonders were asked by Pilate, Herod, the Pharisees, and Sadducees

Indications of the Messaiah’s mission on earth were revealed in the Holy Writ

And the God-like character He displayed should have been enough for them to admit

To perform a miracle to satisfy unbelief and pride, Christ would not heed

But only to heal the sick and suffering who sought Him in sincerity

Even to this day, when the message of God’s truth is presented, we ask for evidence

In answer, the transformation of our sinful characters, when yielded to the Saviour, is proof of His existence
