When we dedicate our lives to the Lord, obstacles, trials, and perplexities assail us.
These are the chosen methods of discipline by God, for our characters He wants to adjust.
He who reads and knows the heart of every person better than we know ourselves.
Is knowledgeable of our strengths and weaknesses; the pruning process we aren’t to rebel.
Just as blacksmiths insert iron and steel into the fire to soften and shape them for use.
The Lord allows the afflictions we face to cleanse and purify us for the work He’s called us to do.
Just as a potter molds, polishes, and bakes clay, making it into a vessel fit to be utilized.
So we are to be in God’s hands: pliable, yielding to His will to be fully revolutionized.
