Why Sin is Permitted to Prevail Temporarily

Perfect harmony once existed throughout God’s universe

Yet sin began in heaven. Rebellion then descended to earth

Evil originated with Lucifer, next in command to Christ

Once a holy, undefiled, covering cherub, he now became filled with pride

God the Father bore long with this “son of the morning” explaining how heaven’s government was run

Displeased with his position. In the heavenly adobe, he caused much contention

With sophistry and fraud, he convinced one-third of the angels to follow him

Cast out of the celestial city but not destroyed, for the inhabitants of heaven & other worlds would lack conviction

God desires to be served out of love than from fear. He wants all to be convinced of His divine authority

Truth and righteousness are the foundations of His throne. To behold the nature of sin and its destructive results is for all to see
